TemperamentMaker

Description

TemperamentMaker is the software developed by MidiPipeOrgan to generate files of temperament for Hauptwerk 3 or 4 in xml format. It is possible to generate any temperament for any organ if you know the original temperament of the organ. You can also use it to experiment with personal temperaments. The software is very easy to use and intuitive. There are three ways to generate a temperament:

By using the cents that the user already knows for a temperament;
By using intervals  of each note of a certain temperament;
By setting  the cycle of fifths for each temperament (Attention:  this method can sometimes be imprecise due to the complexity of the calculations that the software has to make but the result is always acceptable.)

The use of TemperamentMaker is intuitive. After opening the software,  load the data of the Supplier and choose the mode of generation of the temperament. After the new window opens the cents of the new temperament are calculated, the data is exported to the main window of TemperamentMaker and  the XML code is generated. This code will be  saved in the appropriate directory of Hauptwerk.

Below you can see the software screens.  This software operates in multiple pages that are opened from time to time depending on the enabled function.

The software includes a brief tutorial that shows how to operate the program. Note that the use of the program requires musical knowledge on the different musical temperaments. No on-line assistance is available. Also note that each copy is delivered via download and the link is communicated by e-mail.

And possible to free Download in the  Download page.
